Ooooh, you are organised. I haven't even thought about ours yet. I took over from my Grandma a couple of years ago in making the cake and puddings (one for Easter too) as she didn't want to do it anymore. I use her time worn recipes and I so enjoy doing it. Hope yours turns out OK!Cathy XX
oh I can't wait to start on the Christmas cake, I love it. Happy Christmas cake baking!
Yikes...that is so much earlier than I have ever, even in my dreams, cooked a Christmas Cake
How weird - I bought all my ingredients today for my Xmas cake - I'll post my results soon - can't wait to see yours!
It hadn't even crossed my mind to start this yet. I'm not sure I'll actually bother this year as no one seems to eat the stuff in my house. We have mince pie mania instead, maybe I should make my own mincemeat instead. Is that a Nigella recipe I spy?
You know you've totally lost me.For me, this falls under that title we were discussing 'when the sum cost of all ingredients and effort totals more than the purchase of same from a gourmet outlet'.Especially in Australia, when it will be the height of summer, and baking chirstmas cakes and plum puddings is so TOTALLY not up my alley :)P.S. - received some mail today - will email you shortly :)
oh dear - it's getting closer and closer isn't it? There is no way on Earth I am going to be organised this year!!!!
